Mandalas go back many centuries ago wherein mandalas in Sanskrit were in literal meaning nothing but “circles”. They have geometric designs inside them. These were originally drawn to give a positive sense to the environment and create a meditative state for the one who is drawing it. Mandalas to me are my state of meditative affairs, as I do them, they take me to a different world where it’s no longer me. I become a complete spiritual being who feels a bliss which is endless.
Through my mandalas I hope to pass on this state of eternal bliss to the one who is seeing it. If I am successful at passing even a small percentage of positivity through my art then I consider my life to be worthwhile.
